If you've seen Team America: World Police you'll recognize this great tune. This is my first arrangement so please give me some suggestions! Thanks! |

Sounds good. I think when you write a drum part you will realize that you can give them the sixteenth not rhythms and give the upper woodwinds more melodic parts or at least more sustained notes. If the woodwinds are always playing those sixteenth notes, not only will they get tired, your arrangement will sound really static because you don't highlight your entrances with different colors. One of the most fun things about arranging is exploring and exploiting tone colors to mark contrasts in the song. If you always have the same textures and rhythms you are not using the band to its full capacity.
Also, are you sure that this song is in 2/8? That is a very strange time signature for marching band music. Perhaps you can combine the measures into a more standard one.
